Stripe is wired into joining, events, the signature event and the door. The money goes straight to your own Stripe account, card numbers never touch your servers, and every payment lands in one ledger in HQ.
A new member picks their dues band on the join form and pays by card, which starts a yearly Stripe subscription. From then on it renews on its own, and nobody in the office chases a check.
Dues bands by business size, set by you. Card through Stripe Checkout, or “invoice me” for the member who wants paper.
The application waits for staff. Approve it and the listing goes live with a welcome email; a card payment is already on the ledger.
Every payment, the first and each renewal, emails a receipt with a PDF, and the PDF stays in the member’s account under Receipts.
A declined renewal marks the member past due, and HQ lists every failing card so somebody calls before the listing lapses.

Somebody turns up owing. HQ shows a QR code, they scan it and pay on their own phone. No card reader, and your staff never touch a card number.
Not everything comes through Stripe. A sponsor pays by check; somebody hands over cash at the mixer. HQ keeps both in the same ledger, so the year-end number is the real one.
